NCCN Refund App available resources for patients and caregivers -

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) announces the availability of the App NCCN Reimbursement Resource, a resource free through which cancer patients, providers, case managers, and payers can search for available resources for reimbursement and patient assistance programs for many types of cancer and supportive care indications. The application is available through the Apple Store ™ and Google Play ™ Store and can be found by searching for "NCCN refund."

"Patients with cancer and their caregivers continue to fight against the financial burden of a cancer diagnosis," said C. Lyn Fitzgerald, MJ, vice president, United States and development World, NCCN. "by making the App resource Rebate NCCN available, NCCN aims to help patients, caregivers and providers to identify resources that can alleviate this burden by providing easy access to payment assistance programs and reimbursement, respectively. "

Available for Apple and Android mobile devices, the App Resource NCCN Reimbursement includes custom interfaces for each of the three audiences-patient or caregiver, payer or case manager, and the doctor or provider through which users can search for programs by paying three categories: type of cancer or an indication of supportive care, drug name, or reimbursement or assistance program.

content contained in the App Resource refund NCCN updated along with the NCCN Virtual reimbursement Resource Room on NCCN.org. The NCCN Refund Virtual Resource Room was launched in 09 to provide an information resource assistance payment that covered a variety of cancer types and supportive care indications.
